Non-Linear Los Angeles

I loved working on this project. I got to explore the concept of background stage design for the first time.

For the last few years I have been enthralled with video design at concerts and the idea of projecting large scale works of art in front of thousands of people just happy to be there. So i created a mockup of what that might look like on a begining scale.

Because of Covid I moved back home to Los Angeles from Boston University for the time being. Being home made me notice my city a lot differently. Through this video I am embracing the things i love so much about Los Angeles, and rejoicing the humorous and silly side of the entertainment capital of the world. I collaborated on this project with a friend who is equally captivated by Los Angles, and she made me a 35 second remix.

I felt lost making the video while in the middle of it. I want it to be fun and true to itself, but because there are so many elements to Los Angeles, it is hard to narrow it all down. I feel like it could be an hour long. I would love to revisit expand it once the time is right.
